Infinite Monkeys is a code generator employing random creation and mutation of code to solve programming problems.
It's a commonly held belief that an infinite number of monkeys, each with a typewriter, bashing away at the keys for eternity, will eventually produce the works of Shakespeare. This seems sensible enough, since we're combining randomness with infinity we should be able to produce anything we like. Infinite Monkeys is a project to apply this technique to computer programming.
Infinite Monkeys is in a pre-alpha state. We have some code, but it hasn't yet generated anything useful (maybe we need to get closer to infinity runtime!). Check back later when we've released some files. We'll be producing code in Java, C#, Ruby, Python, and any other languages we can get our hands on.
